Introduction

Just moved up to DC for a job opportunity not being familiar with the area and anyone. Like to work hard and play harder. Looking to network and meet new people who are out going and laid back as I am.

Which type of event are you more likely to attend: a big happy hour, an outdoors trip, or a smaller intimate dinner and movie event? [choose one]

Like to start off with larger social event, such as big happy hour where I can first meet people and get into my comfort zone.

Welcome to DC Viet Alliance Perin. If you would like to do some language exchange, please let me know. We do internet voice chat with students in Vietnam. They help us learn Vietnamese grammar/vocabulary and we help them with their English.

Glad to hear you were involved with VSA. Our group has ties to Ket Doan Association- a young professionals group for former VSA members. Love the camraderie and charity events.

Hi there. I personally am not involved with UMD VSA but several of my Meetup people are former VSA members back in college. We will be attending George Mason VSA's culture show in 2 weeks. If you'd like, join our group. We do everything- eating out, volunteering, and enjoying DC nightlife as well.
