This one's for the singles in our group!

I've made special arrangements with Town Tavern for this event. We'll each experience a dozen first dates in one evening with numerous single young professionals of the opposite sex.

At the beginning of the evening, we'll each receive a name tag with a unique number on it, as well as an index card on which we'll print our name, our unique number, and our email address. For the first hour, we will rotate every 4 minutes and meet over a dozen new single friends. We'll then write down the unique number of those we'd like to see again and hand the card back in. (In the next few days after the event, we'll receive an email with any mutual matches.)

After the dating portion, for the next hour, we'll still have the place reserved for us to mix, mingle, and get to know each other a little bit more at the bar, with drinks specials for our group only!

For those that haven't been there before, Town Tavern is a great pub, which encourages a pleasant and friendly setting for us to interact.

We've got an early bird special for this event of only $10 (the price of 1 cocktail drink at a club)! The first 45 paid sign-ups, or those who pay before Sunday, September 26th (whichever comes first) get the early bird price! After that, it will go up to $15. Secure your slot by rsvp'ing yes AND making payment! Come join us as we spend a pleasant evening amongst other singles from our group!

Woodley Park/Adams Morgan (Red Line) is a 15 minute walk. I suggest Metro / cabbing if you can. I also recommend using wmata for travel planning.
